1. Subject of the Conditions of Participation and Organizer

1.1 These conditions of participation regulate the conditions for participation in the competition and any necessary transfer of rights. The description and procedure of the competition takes place as part of the respective competition campaign on the Happy Dog Facebook channel @happydog or the Happy Dog Instagram page @happydog.

1.3 By participating in the respective competition, these conditions of participation are accepted.

2. Participation

2.1 Everyone who has reached the age of 18 and is resident in Mauritius is entitled to participate in the competition.

Gt3web consulting employees and other persons involved in the conception and implementation of this competition are excluded from participation. Owners and employees of gt3web’s sales partners are also excluded from participating in the competition. Participation with fake identities or with identities of third parties is not allowed.

2.2 Eligible participants can only participate in the competition if they observe and execute all the conditions of the respective competition on Instagram or Facebook.

2.3 Participation is possible from December 20th, 2022 – 12:00 a.m. to December 23th, 2022 – 11:59 p.m. due to the respective conditions on social media.

2.4 Participation takes place through complete implementation of the conditions of participation on social media.

2.5 The winners must confirm the prize by private message to Happy Dog within 7 days after being notified of the prize. After this time, the right to the prize expires. 

3. Winnings and Winning Notification

3.1 The prizes described in the respective post will be raffled among all eligible participants.

3.2 Winners will be chosen at random from all eligible entrants within one week of the entry closing date. Winners will pick up gifts at our store in Vacoas. The personal details of the participants are used to send the prize or for any consultations on the choice of food as part of the prize.

If the package is not accepted or cannot be delivered after the package sender has tried to deliver, the entitlement to the prize expires.

3.3 Only one prize is possible per participant.

3.4 The prize is neither transferable nor can the prize be exchanged or paid out in cash.

3.5 If circumstances arise for which we are not responsible, the respective winner accepts an appropriate replacement prize. Circumstances that are beyond our control are in particular those that lie with the sponsors of the prizes.

3.6 Prizes will be mailed to the winner at the address provided. When the prize is handed over to a transport person, the risk passes to the winner. We are not responsible for delivery damage.

4. Liability and Indemnification

4.1 If the participant uploads photos/videos or transmits them to us, the participant guarantees that he will not send any content whose provision, publication or use violates applicable law or the rights of third parties

4.2 The participant indemnifies us from third-party claims of any kind that result from the illegality of photos/videos that the participant has used. The obligation to indemnify also includes the obligation to fully indemnify the organizer from legal defense costs (e.g. court and attorney’s fees).

5. Exclusion

5.1 A breach of these conditions of participation entitles us to exclude the respective participant from participation. This applies in particular if the participant provides incorrect information or if the photos or other content (e.g. comments) used violate applicable law or the rights of third parties. The same applies to comments that can be viewed as glorifying violence, offensive, harassing or degrading or that violate social decency in any other way.

5.2 If the excluded participant is a winner who has already been drawn, the prize can be subsequently revoked.

6. Early Termination and Amendments

We reserve the right to prematurely end the competition in whole or in part at any time, even without observing a deadline, or to change its course if it is not possible for technical (e.g. computer virus, manipulation of or errors in software/hardware) or legal reasons possible to guarantee that the competition will be carried out properly.

7. Privacy

We refer to our privacy policy, which you can find here .

8. Final Provisions

8.1 Should the Conditions of Participation contain ineffective provisions, the validity of the remaining conditions shall remain unaffected.

8.2 Mauritian law applies. Legal action to review the draw is excluded.
